Motor Avenue has a rich history of filming in Los Angeles. Motor stops and starts at Fox and Sony Studios. We have been featured in some of the best of television and film. From the Little Rascals, Laurel and Hardy to Modern Family, Motor Avenue has had many days of filming grace our street, brighten up our community, support our association and enrich our businesses and residents. We love the filming that happens on Motor and look forward to more.
We have had great working relationships with shoots and shows such as Modern Family. We many times will contact a shoot who we find has intent to film on our street and assist them. Since we know the street we can help with parking, staging and many other production issues. We are lucky enough to have two very large parking lots and other hidden vacant land on our street that we can help make available to location managers. This provides a win win opportunity to both the shoot and the community. Parking especially can be a contentious issue between a location manager and many of our small businesses who rely on a very small amount of parking to survive. Many times we can help with locations for catering and porta potty’s that does not infringe with the residents and businesses. For the most part this has been a wonderful relationship with our community’s location managers who keep coming back time and time again.
We have developed a close relationship with FIlmLA to allude any issues that may arise with Film Crews in terms of parking, waste management, and traffic.
